IMPORTANT UPDATE: NCC2020 postponed to 13 & 14 March 2022
The NCC organization has been closely following the recent developments around COVID-19 and the associated restrictions. Although the restrictions are gradually being eased, the 1.5 meter rule will be maintained for the time being. Therefore, the organization has decided that the conference, which had previously been postponed to 6 & 7 September, will be moved to 13 & 14 March 2022.
The reason being that the organization cannot host a full-fledged congress and at the same time guarantee the health and well-being of our participants. With the travel restrictions and the uncertainty when these will be lifted, the program is likely to remain uncertain until the last moment. As an organization we have looked into possibilities for shifting to spring 2021, but this causes many conflicts with other conferences and meetings. That is why it was decided to move the 2020 edition to 2022.
For attendees who have already purchased a ticket for the NCC2020, the NCC offers the opportunity to use this ticket for the NCC2022 edition, for the 2020 price and conditions. For participants that would like to take advantage of this offer, no action is required.
Those who would prefer a refund of the purchased tickets, instructions can be found on our website. New tickets for the NCC2022 can only be purchased at the then (in 2022) applicable rates and conditions.
We, the NCC organization hope that many of you will hold on to your ticket, so the NCC can continue organizing a fantastic conference in 2022.
For participants who have booked hotel rooms at the NH Koningshof and had them moved to 6 & 7 September 2020, these rooms can be transferred to 13 & 14 March 2022 for the 2020 price and conditions (and without administration costs). It is also possible to cancel your reserved rooms. To cancel your booking, please refer to the information on our website: www.contactlenscongress.com.

We are looking forward to September to go ‘Beyond 2020’ together!
Following the recent developments around the corona virus (COVID-19), the NCC board and its partnering organizations have decided to postpone the upcoming ‘NCC2020 – Beyond 2020’ clinical conference which was scheduled for the 15th and 16th of March. The conference will be rescheduled to a later date this year for which an announcement will follow.
To date: Dutch authorities, the National Institute for Public Health and Regional Health Care Organization have not imposed any restrictions on the organization of events. Nevertheless, we are aware of our social responsibility and we see it as our obligation to assure the health of all our attendees. Furthermore, we also take pride in offering our attendees a high-quality conference.
We will keep you informed in the coming days and weeks about an alternative date for this wonderful event. We thank you in advance for your understanding.
As you know, the world is currently plagued by the coronavirus or COVID-19. Of course, the organization of the NCC closely monitors the developments surrounding the spread of the virus.
We follow the advice of the Dutch health Care authorities and for moment there’s no impact on the NCC. Should the government though give a different advice, we will move the NCC to a later time in the year.
The number of registrations is great, and we are again well over 1500 unique visitors. We look forward to welcoming you on the 15th and/or 16th of March in the Koningshof, Veldhoven. If you have not yet registered, do so now and you are assured of another wonderful congress.
