Welcome back from holiday, the NCC's new website is live!

Everyone is almost back from holiday, and so are the organisers of the NCC. Behind the scenes, we remain busy organising Europe's biggest contact lens congress on 10 and 11 March. The new website is live, this is where the EARLY BIRDS tickets will be available from October!

We would like to introduce everyone to the various people who make the NCC possible. This year we have a new addition to the team, Sander Uittenbogaard of CooperVision. Sander is happy to introduce himself.

What first comes to mind when you think of the NCC?

A conference entirely focused on contact lenses.

What is your most fun/special memory of the NCC?

Getting to know partners you have had email contact with before, but finally being able to meet in ''real life''.

Do you wear contact lenses by yourself?

Yes, I have been wearing contact lenses since I was 10 years old and couldn't live without them! 6 years ago I started wearing daily lenses and that brings even more convenience. All in all, very happy to be able to see sharply every day!

What role do you fulfil within the NCC organisation?

As Digital Marketer, I am responsible for maintaining the website. We have designed a new website for the new edition of the NCC, so new content is published on it and kept up-to-date.

How many editions have you been in the organisation of the NCC?

This is my 1st edition where I will be part of the organisation!

The theme of the NCC 2024 is "Future Generation". What do you think of when you think of this theme?

When I think of the term ''Future Generation'', I think of transferring knowledge to the future generation. The contact lens market never stands still and there will obviously be plenty of developments in the future too. My expectation is that at the NCC I will be able to gain more knowledge to prepare myself for this as well as possible.

Finally, what are you looking forward to at the NCC 2024

I am looking forward to meeting many partners again, but also to increasing my knowledge through lectures by the real experts. In addition, the party night is always something fun to look forward to!
